Moonrise Kingdom

What’s it about?

“It’s a romance between a 12-year-old boy and girl set in 1965 on an island off the coast of new England,” says Anderson. “The inspiration was my memory of what it’s like to fall in love when you’re that age (or at least what you think is love at the time), and how overwhelming it is. It just sort of blindsides you. When you read a book when you’re that age you can get so invested in that that the book can become your whole world. That relates to the movie also. The movie is partly about how children at that age have this overpowering need for fantasy.”

I Will Never Love You More

Stubbled upon this awesome short film by Kinga Burza for Kate Spade.
I can not seem to stop humming, "I Will Never Love You More" by Soko.

Miike Snow

Happy Thursday Everyone! First off I have to say thanks Pandora Radio for finding Miike Snow for me. After playing there song, "Animal", over and over again I just had to listen to there other songs. You can go on RCRDLBL to listen and download some of there songs. Also check out the video "Black & Blue" below, one of my favorite songs off the album.

Cold War Kids/Final Four Weekend

Last Thursday I was able to see COLD WAR KIDS, which was awesome at Warehouse Live. For some reason I always meet the very talkative people, it's like I have a sign that says, "Please tell me all your business", but some say  it's because I look approachable than again some say I look mean so I'm 50/50 on this situation. Anyways thanks stranger guy that wasn't letting anyone taller than me get in front of me (which was everyone).

(at 0:24 you can see the couple infront of me getting down & at 1:19 & maybe throughout the whole video. I was just glad they weren't all on me)

It was also 2011 Final Four Weekend in Houston. I am not a very big fan of Basketball, but I thank it for bringing 3 Days of FREE Concerts at Discovery Green. Sublime with Rome on Friday, Kings of Leon (NoL) on Saturday and Kenny Chesney on Sunday. I was not missing out especially since it was FREE, so I went to see Sublime with Rome and NoL (not a very big Country music fan).
